As much as I love the deep-colored sear on cuts of meat that you’d get from a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet or a good carbon steel pan, I still turn to my nonstick pan more than any other option in my kitchen. I can’t deny how easy these pans are to use, and most importantly, how easy they are to clean on busy days when I have to hurry my cooking from prep to finish. 

Every time I consider a new cookware brand, I look for its nonstick collection first—and lately, nothing has impressed me as much as Made In Cookware’s Nonstick Pan. After the brand sent me its 10-inch pan to try, I’ve used it from morning to night for sunny-side-up eggs, chicken breast, and stir-fry chicken with noodles, and absolutely nothing has stuck. In fact, it’s so slick that my eggs almost slid off the pan one morning when I was whooshing it around too excitedly, and cleaning it has been easy as a quick wipe with a paper towel. 

Needless to say, I’m obsessed. The pan has proven to be rather durable, with barely any scratches from my extensive three-times-per-day use over the last month. It also heats evenly, so you won’t find any burned spots on your cooking. Plus, it’s oven-proof for up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit so you can easily make tarte tatin or Dutch baby pancakes in one pan.

Just keep in mind that nonstick pans require a bit of mindfulness when using them. “We still encourage customers to be careful when using metal utensils and when stacking pans in their cabinets, which is where the majority of issues come from,” Kalick said. “For those who don’t want to be careful using metal, use silicone or wood utensils! ” 

And like most nonstick pans, you should only hand-wash it instead of throwing it in the dishwasher. Although that might seem to make cleanup fussier, I’ve found even a simple rinse under hot water easily gets rid of anything that’s potentially stuck to the nonstick surface.
